The two most important American design codes for piping in one seminar. ASME B31.3 (Process Piping) and B31.1 (Power Piping) cover most
applications for piping both in the plant engineering industry and in the
power plant sector. All relevant aspects of classification and scope, material
(ASTM/EN), design calculation, fabrication, testing and inspection are discussed.
Further topics are standard components (e.g. ASME B16.5, B16.9 or
B16.34) and their use within the framework of the piping regulations as well
as questions on the duties and responsibilities of owners, manufacturers,
inspectors and designers.
