Revised qualification requirements for Pressure Vessel Designers!
Annoyed by the Appendix 47 confusion? On December 10th, 2024 the new Code Case 3100 was approved by ASME featuring alternative requirements for pressure vessel designers.
This Code Case is intended to be the basis of the revised Appendix 47 in the upcoming 2025 Edition of ASME BPV Code Section VIII, Division 1.
At first sight, the Code Case seems to be a fundamental simplification of the current Appendix 47 (2023 Edition).
On closer inspection, beside some advantages, some amendments and plenty of relabeling, the core message of the existing Appendix remains the same.
However, by joining us you will learn how your business will best benefit from the changes.
