The specific content of the required NDE reports will be addressed. An Authorized Inspector Supervisor experienced in this field will explain how to achieve and meet the ASME NDE personnel qualification requirements by incorporation of existing ISO 9712 qualifications. As far as practical the acceptance criteria of the ASME Codes Section I, III, VIII-1, VIII-2, IX, B31.1, B31.3, B16.34 will be summarized and condensed so that the participants gain good working knowledge on how to interpret indications revealed by the applied NDE method.

The seminar language is English.

  • Manufacturer's duties and responsibilities with respect to application of NDE

  • final documentation required for the performed nondestructive examination

  • determining the specific needs of the employer regarding the NDE personnel qualification levels depending on the NDE methods applied at the manufacturing facilities
